Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with experience in school settings
- Familiarity with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) and IEP (Individualized Education Program) processes
- Strong skills in conducting evaluations (initial and re-evaluations) to determine special education eligibility
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
- Comfort consulting with teachers, specialists, and families to promote generalization of skills across environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite OT services supporting two middle schools, Monday through Friday from 7:45am to 3:15pm
- Participate as an active building-level team member to support MTSS and IEP implementation
- Conduct assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations as part of the special education team
- Offer direct intervention, consultative services, and staff collaboration to enhance student access to curriculum and school participation
- Support implementation of strategies to help students thrive in the classroom and beyond
