ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to join a supportive school district in Ashland City, Tennessee. 🎒🌟 This full-time position offers the opportunity to make an impact across multiple schools while providing leadership and support to COTAs throughout the district. We are seeking a qualified OT who is eager to collaborate with educational teams and help students achieve their developmental and academic goals.
Position Details 📋
⏰ Hours: 37.5 hours per week
🏫 Setting: Itinerant school-based position
📅 Assignment Dates: ASAP through May 27, 2027
🚗 Travel: Travel required throughout the district
🎥 Interview Process: Remote panel interview
⚡ Offer Timeline: Same-day decision following interview
Key Responsibilities ✏
- Provide occupational therapy services to students across multiple school sites
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
- Attend and actively participate in IEP meetings
- Supervise and support 3 Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district and state requirements
- Travel between assigned schools to provide services and support
Qualifications 🎓
- Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
- Active Tennessee Occupational Therapist (OT) License required
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to travel throughout the district
- Must meet all district onboarding requirements, including additional background checks and fingerprinting
