This opportunity runs on a contract basis through May 27th, 2027, offering you the chance to provide your expertise to a dynamic group of learners and collaborate with other dedicated professionals. Travel between schools in the district will keep your days engaging as you oversee a caseload of 120 students and provide leadership to a team of 3 COTAs.
Qualifications:
- Current Tennessee Occupational Therapist license/certification
- Experience or strong interest in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy
- Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience supervising COTAs is a plus
What you’ll do:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Oversee, mentor, and support 3 COTAs within the district
- Assess and develop intervention plans tailored to the unique needs of each student
- Maintain thorough documentation of evaluations, progress, and outcomes
- Consult with teachers, families, and staff to support student success
- Travel between school sites as needed to serve your caseload
