School Occupational Therapist | Aurora, Colorado

You'll play an integral part in supporting students across elementary, middle, and high school levels, focusing on assessments, interventions, and collaborative planning with educators and support staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Occupational Therapy (OT) license (required)
- Previous experience working in school environments or with pediatric populations strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting evaluations and developing individualized plans of care
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, multidisciplinary teams, and families
- Strong organizational skills with attention to documentation and service delivery
- Commitment to maintaining professional and ethical standards within educational settings
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy services and support to students in elementary and middle school, with possible high school overflow evaluations
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine student eligibility and appropriate interventions
- Develop and implement individualized therapy interventions aligned with IEP goals
- Support caseload management, including participation in IEP meetings and collaborative planning
- Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation as required by school policies
- Offer consultative support to educators and staff to foster a positive, inclusive learning environment
- Work onsite, Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, totaling 36 hours per week
