Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with students, teachers, and parents
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services as part of students’ educational programs
- Collaborate with educators to support classroom modifications and individual accommodations
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services provided
- Contribute to IEP meetings and serve as a resource on occupational therapy interventions
- Educate families and staff about strategies and tools to enhance students’ daily functioning
