Qualifications:
- Certified Occupational Therapist with current state licensure
- Experience working with students in a school-based setting preferred
- Skilled in providing 1:1 services and individualized interventions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators, parents, and staff
- Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to student needs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted occupational therapy services to students on a 1:1 basis
- Assess, plan, and evaluate individualized therapy programs to meet each student's unique needs and goals
- Collaborate with teachers and other school professionals to integrate therapy goals into daily routines
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and therapy sessions
- Attend and participate in meetings, such as IEPs, to advocate for student support
- Provide guidance and education to school staff and families on strategies to support student growth
