Qualifications & Credentials:
- Current certification and state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience providing OT services in schools or similar pediatric environments
- Skilled in designing and implementing 1:1 intervention plans
- Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and other specialists
- Compassionate and patient with a commitment to supporting students with unique needs
- Adaptable and organized, able to handle changing caseloads and priorities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct one-on-one occupational therapy to assigned students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas for growth
- Develop and monitor customized intervention plans tailored to individual goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and school teams to ensure coordinated support
- Document progress and maintain timely, accurate records
- Apply evidence-based strategies and adaptive techniques to promote independence in school activities
