Qualifications:
- Current state license to practice Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Certification as an Occupational Therapist (NBCOT or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Comfort working individually with students to address their unique needs
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to develop, implement, and track individualized therapy plans
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services on a 1:1 basis for students in alignment with IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support holistic student development
- Conduct assessments and contribute to the development of IEPs and progress reports
- Maintain required documentation, records, and communication related to student progress
- Advise staff on techniques to best support student access to the curriculum and the learning environment
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as needed, staying up to date on best practices in pediatric OT
