Two contract opportunities are available for onsite professionals for the full 2026–2027 academic year, offering the chance to collaborate directly with students and multidisciplinary teams to promote growth and independence.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Washington State Occupational Therapist licensure and certification required
- Must be fingerprinted through OSPI prior to start date
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings strongly preferred
- Skilled at managing a diverse K–12 caseload
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with students, staff, and families
- Ability to adapt evidence-based interventions for a variety of student needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate students’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services to a caseload of up to 30 K–12 students
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support IEPs and student goals
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation as per district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide professional insight to help shape students’ educational experiences
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school environment
