Occupational Therapist School Setting in Seattle, WA
Occupational Therapists passionate about supporting K-12 students are invited to consider an onsite contract opportunity for the full 2026–2027 academic year. Two qualified professionals are needed to provide vital services to a diverse student caseload, empowering learners across a range of grades to achieve success and independence.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy license and certification required
- Fingerprinting clearance through the Washington OSPI must be completed prior to start
- Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations preferred
- Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive educational environments
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in K-12 settings, supporting up to 30 students in total
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to facilitate student progress
- Conduct regular progress monitoring, adjustment of interventions, and participation in IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate and timely records consistent with federal, state, and local requirements
- Promote functional independence, motor skills, and adaptive strategies in classroom environments
This onsite-only role offers the chance to make a substantial difference throughout the school year, from August 17, 2026, through June 16, 2027, with a steady, full-time weekly schedule of 37.5 hours.
