High School Elementary Occupational Therapist School Setting - Clovis, NM

• Current license to practice occupational therapy in New Mexico
• Experience working in a school-based setting (preferred)
• Ability to effectively engage with students from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and reporting
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Compassionate and patient approach to working with children and adolescents
• Adaptability and flexibility to address varying student needs
Key responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments to identify students’ strengths and barriers to learning
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to support holistic student development
• Provide direct therapy services, both individually and in small groups
• Document progress and maintain detailed, timely records
• Support classroom modifications and accommodations
• Contribute to team meetings and ongoing program development
