Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized plans.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, ensuring their progress toward educational and developmental goals.
- Participate actively in IEP meetings, contributing expertise and advocating for student needs.
- Collaborate regularly with teachers, school team members, administration, and families to coordinate effective support strategies.
- Maintain detailed records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines.
Desired Qualifications:
- Current New Mexico Occupational Therapist license.
- New Mexico Occupational Therapist PED certification.
- Experience delivering occupational therapy in a school setting (preferred).
- Familiarity with K-12 student populations and ability to adapt approaches for varying ages and needs.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
In this position, you will be compensated between $38 and $45 per hour, depending on your experience.
