Key Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico state licensure (NMRLD) required
- NMPED certification through NM Dept. of Ed by the contract start date (obtaining NMPED can be expedited with timely action)
- Experience or willingness to supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA)
- Comfort and flexibility traveling between various school locations
- Commitment to work onsite with students of all ages
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy services to students throughout the school year
- Supervise and provide guidance to COTA(s) as needed
- Travel between different campuses to ensure consistent support across the district
- Collaborate closely with educational teams to assess, implement, and monitor student progress
- Complete documentation and reports in accordance with district policies and state guidelines
