Key Qualifications:
- Active New Mexico state licensure (NMRLD) and NMPED certification (or eligibility and willingness to obtain certification prior to the start date)
- Previous school-based OT experience preferred; COTAs with strong backgrounds also considered
- Must be comfortable supervising COTAs as part of the service delivery model
- Ability and willingness to travel to multiple sites and work with students of all ages
- Flexible, collaborative, and proactive communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions to help students succeed academically and functionally
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs
- Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, families, and other professionals
- Travel as required between campuses, ensuring comprehensive coverage district-wide
- Supervise and support COTAs to maintain high-quality therapy standards
