Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid and current license to practice Occupational Therapy in California
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic approach to working with students
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans for students with diverse needs
- Deliver direct therapeutic services and monitor progress toward IEP goals
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to integrate OT strategies in educational settings
- Document services in compliance with local and federal regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and school-based initiatives
