Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current California licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly valued
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with diverse school staff, students, and families
- Effective time management and organizational abilities
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop individualized therapy plans for students
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver services aligned with students’ IEPs
- Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to support fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and adaptive strategies
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes in accordance with school guidelines and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting for student achievement
- Educate school personnel and families on strategies and accommodations to enhance student participation in the academic environment
