Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state
- Previous experience working as a school-based or pediatric OT is highly valued
- Solid understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Ability to assess, create, and execute individualized treatment and intervention plans
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; collaborative mindset
- Flexibility and organization in managing a dynamic caseload
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills
- Develop and document treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals
- Provide direct occupational therapy services individually and in groups
- Consult with teachers and parents to integrate therapeutic strategies into daily activities
- Monitor and track progress, making data-driven adjustments to interventions as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with school and state requirements
