Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in California
- Experience delivering OT services in school-based settings preferred
- Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and educational documentation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to varying student needs
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students according to IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports in a timely manner
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Deliver interventions that address fine motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional school activities
- Adapt therapy techniques to meet each student’s unique strengths and challenges
