Qualifications & Skills
- Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in Ohio
- Prior experience in school-based OT or with IEP implementation
- Familiarity with pediatric populations and adapting interventions by age (elementary to high school)
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with educational staff and families
- Ability to maintain thorough documentation, progress notes, and service records
- Comfort with flexible scheduling for approximately 2 hours per month
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver direct OT services as mandated by IEPs (60 minutes/month per student)
- Develop goal-oriented treatments for a 10th grade and a kindergarten student
- Accurately complete therapy documentation and progress monitoring
- Liaise with teachers and program staff to support student integration and success
- Evaluate student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed
- Participate in meetings regarding student needs and outcomes
