Help empower student growth as a contract Occupational Therapist, providing direct support to students from PreK through 8th grade in a dynamic educational setting near Glendale, AZ. Key Qualifications:
- Active state Occupational Therapy license
- IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (must be current and submitted with application)
- Previous experience working in school environments strongly preferred
- Skill in collaborating with staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ability to evaluate and develop interventions for a varied pediatric caseload
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students in PreK-8th grade
- Conduct assessments, develop student-centered goals, and create individualized intervention plans
- Collect data to monitor student progress and adjust plans accordingly
- Collaborate with educators, support staff, and caregivers to integrate strategies into the classroom
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with school policies and state regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for accommodations and modifications
