Key Qualifications:
- Active state Occupational Therapy license and IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Background in school-based OT practice, especially with PreK-8th grade students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Adaptable, with strong problem-solving and organizational abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess and address students’ needs through evaluations and individualized treatment plans
- Deliver therapeutic interventions in alignment with IEP goals
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Provide guidance and resources to school staff for classroom modifications and accommodations
