Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services in a K–8 school setting in Glendale, Arizona for the 2026–2027 school year. This position is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, with a caseload expected to fall within the average range. The OT will likely work primarily at one school site while also providing support to a self-contained classroom/program at another site.
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to K–8 students based on individual needs and IEP goals
- Assess students and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide direct and consultative OT services as outlined in student IEPs
- Support students in accessing and participating in their educational environment
- Provide OT support to a self-contained classroom/program at an additional school site
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other members of the educational team
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

- Ability to work effectively with students across K–8 grade levels
- Strong organization and time-management skills
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to individual student needs
- Comfortable supporting students in both general and specialized educational settings
Qualifications
- Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) License
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to provide school-based occupational therapy services
Experience
- School-based OT experience is preferred but not required
Education
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Work Hours & Industry
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Approximately 60–70 students, depending on assignment; caseloads are expected to remain within the average range
