You’ll be working with a caseload of approximately 53 students across three schools, fostering independence and helping them strengthen both fine and gross motor skills. The assignment runs from August 5th, 2026 through September 30th, 2026—with potential for extension—providing you with experience across a diverse, engaging setting.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license in California
- Experience in school-based, home health, and healthcare OT environments
- Proficiency in assessing and advancing both fine and gross motor skills
- Experience working with school-aged children
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to manage onsite responsibilities across multiple school sites
- Previous experience with similar student caseloads preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group OT services in accordance with IEP goals
- Assess student abilities, develop treatment plans, and monitor progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers
- Accurately document all sessions and progress reports
- Travel between assigned school sites as needed
- Participate actively in team meetings and IEP reviews
