Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in California
- Proven experience in school-based settings supporting K–12 students
- Familiarity with home health, teletherapy, and general healthcare OT practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills for effective collaboration with educators, parents, and multi-disciplinary teams
- Comfort with documentation, progress monitoring, and the IEP process
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies for both on-site and virtual delivery
- Tech-savvy and able to manage teletherapy platforms smoothly
Role Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy services to students with varying needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans while collecting measurable data
- Lead and participate in IEP meetings; prepare comprehensive reports and maintain compliance
- Consult with teachers, staff, and families to provide recommendations and resources
- Conduct therapy sessions in a variety of settings, including on campus, in students’ homes, and via teletherapy as needed
- Participate in professional development and stay up-to-date with best practices in pediatric OT
