Key Qualifications:
- Current, active Occupational Therapy license (required)
- Demonstrated experience working with K-12 student populations
- Familiarity with school-based OT practice, IEPs, and therapeutic interventions
- Ability to manage time effectively in a per diem, onsite contract role
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Clinical reasoning and adaptability to meet diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs and develop individualized therapy plans
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to K-12 students within school settings
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to implement effective strategies
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing valuable input on students' functional performance and recommendations
- Foster a supportive, inclusive environment that encourages student success and independence
