Key Qualifications:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapist license required
- Previous experience in a K-12 school environment preferred
- Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs) and relevant therapy documentation
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to adapt therapy strategies to suit different learning and developmental stages
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students onsite, addressing sensory, motor, and functional skills
- Assess and document student abilities; develop and implement therapy plans tailored to individual goals
- Collaborate with educators, staff, and families to ensure integrated support for each child
- Maintain compliance with state/licensure guidelines and school policies
- Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reporting as required
