Key Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license for the state
- Experience in school-based OT strongly preferred
- Comfort working with diverse student populations, ages Pre K-12
- Ability to supervise and mentor a COTA as part of a collaborative caseload management team
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Passion for creating engaging, individualized interventions to help each student thrive
Responsibilities:
- Provide therapy services in accordance with IEPs and 504 plans
- Deliver assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for a caseload of 60-75 students
- Monitor student progress and document outcomes
- Work jointly with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary staff
- Supervise and support a COTA, ensuring compliance with best practices
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings as necessary
- Support transitions and adaptations within school environments to optimize accessibility and participation
