Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy (OT) licensure required for school-based practice in Minnesota
- Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators, families, and support staff
- Ability to assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-8 students to support their educational and developmental needs
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create targeted interventions to address fine motor, sensory, and functional skills
- Document student progress, maintain timely records, and communicate updates to teachers and families
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to goal setting
- Provide consultation and resources to classroom staff for student support
- Adapt interventions and strategies to best fit each student’s unique needs
