Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of California
- Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills
- Passion for working with children ranging from kindergarten through high school
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students with a range of abilities and needs
- Conduct assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers and support teams to integrate therapeutic strategies in the classroom
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress with all stakeholders
- Support students in achieving functional, sensory, and motor goals to enhance their educational experience
