Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license (state eligibility required)
- Previous experience with school-based OT for K-12 populations preferred
- Comfortable delivering services across in-person, home health, healthcare, and teletherapy settings
- Skilled in designing and implementing individualized education and therapy plans
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for work with students, staff, and families
- Organizational skills to manage caseload and documentation efficiently
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy to K-12 students in a range of environments, adjusting interventions to meet unique needs
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions supporting academic achievement and daily living skills
- Consult with teachers and staff, providing recommendations and strategies for student success
- Maintain timely, accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings
- Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed for remote service delivery
- Engage with families to support carry-over of skills and foster progress
- Adapt to changing needs throughout the full academic school year
