In this role, your journey begins with contributing to a school facing a vacancy—ensuring continuity of care until a new direct-hire OT is onboarded by mid-October. Following this, your skills will support another district during a 12-week FMLA leave coverage, providing services into late January. Each assignment will offer fresh challenges and allow you to build meaningful relationships with students and staff alike.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active, current Missouri Occupational Therapist license required
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational or clinical settings
- Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and adaptability
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and easily transition between assignments
- Comfortable with completing credentialing tasks including fingerprinting and required district technology and compliance documentation
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services, supporting students’ participation in academic and daily living activities
- Collaborate with IEP teams, educators, and families to set and achieve measurable goals
- Maintain ongoing documentation, progress reporting, and communication in line with district requirements
- Serve as a flexible resource to multiple schools as needs evolve throughout the contract
