This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced OT seeking to collaborate with a dedicated educational team and serve diverse age groups from elementary through high school. The assignment will be based on-site at three different schools, allowing you to engage with students in a variety of settings.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Missouri Occupational Therapy (OT) license
- Experience delivering occupational therapy in a school environment
- Ability to work independently across multiple locations
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Capable of managing a diverse caseload spanning elementary, middle, and high school students
- Must complete required fingerprinting, submit TCN number, and sign/return district technology form prior to start
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions for students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each child’s educational goals
- Deliver therapy sessions in accordance with IEPs across Barrington Elementary, North Middle School, and West High School
- Monitor and document student progress, providing regular updates to educational teams
- Maintain compliance with school district policies and state OT regulations
Assignment Details:
- Contract runs from ASAP through approximately the end of May 2027
- 37.5 hours per week, serving three campuses within the Hazelwood School District
- Direct, in-person service is required
