School Occupational Therapist - Saint Peters, Missouri

You’ll primarily support students by providing in-person therapy, making a direct impact where it’s most needed.
In this position, you will first fill a vacancy in one district through mid-October, then transition to support a 12-week FMLA leave in another district until late January. The assignment offers a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours, allowing you to develop strong relationships with staff and students as you help them navigate their educational journey. Exact school assignments and caseload details will be confirmed upon placement.
Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered Occupational Therapy (OT) license in Missouri
- Recent experience in school-based therapy settings
- Familiarity with IEP goals and documentation processes for diverse age groups
- Comfortable working across multiple campuses as needed
- Fingerprinting required for credentialing; TCN number submission is part of onboarding
- Ability to complete district technology agreement as part of compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group OT services to students in alignment with their IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
- Travel between assigned campuses as needed during assignment
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district standards
- Adapt interventions to meet the evolving needs of each school community
