Exciting opportunities await for a skilled Occupational Therapist interested in supporting students’ growth and development across dynamic school environments! This contract position spans two engaging assignments within a respected district, providing hands-on experience with diverse caseloads and the chance to directly impact young lives from now through late January 2027.
You’ll begin your role providing in-person services in one district until October 19th, then transition to another for a 12-week leave coverage, supporting children and collaborating with school teams to deliver essential therapy. Flexible across campuses in Florissant and St. Louis, you’ll have the chance to work with a variety of age groups, adapting your expertise to meet individual and group needs.
What we're looking for:
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Missouri
- School-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Ability to fulfill credentialing steps quickly (district fingerprinting and technology authorization required)
- Comfort working across district campuses as assigned
- Strong communication skills for interaction with students, educators, and families
- Passion for fostering student independence and success
- Adaptability to shifting caseloads and campus needs
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering on-site OT services for students with a range of needs
- Tracking progress and managing individualized plans
- Collaborating with educators, IEP teams, and families
- Using school-provided technology for documentation and communication
- Adhering to all district requirements and timely credentialing
- Flexibly managing transitions between assignments as coverage needs change
