Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license in California (or eligible to obtain)
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Previous school-based OT experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency in assessment, goal development, and intervention planning
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adjust strategies to meet individual needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to determine students’ therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families
- Provide direct therapy sessions to students in group and one-on-one settings
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise to support student achievement and well-being
- Offer consultative support to teachers to create accessible classroom environments
