Occupational Therapist School Setting in Schaumburg, IL

Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapy license required
- Experience providing OT services in schools preferred
- Comfortable with elementary-age students
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists

- Adaptable in managing caseloads and varying student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, screenings, and interventions for identified students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Provide consultation to teachers and staff regarding strategies to promote fine and gross motor skills
- Communicate progress and recommendations to families and educational teams
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatment sessions, student progress, and outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to collaborative planning
- Support students in acquiring life and educational skills for classroom and social success
