School hours may vary: elementary hours are generally 8:30 am to 3:15 pm, while secondary schedules run from 7:30 am to 2:15 pm, offering some flexibility within your workday.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current license to practice Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, general healthcare, or teletherapy.
- Ability to work effectively with both elementary and secondary student populations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans.
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services per student IEPs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student goals.
- Maintain accurate documentation for compliance and progress monitoring.
- Adapt therapy approaches for classroom, home, or virtual settings as needed.
