Occupational Therapist School Setting in Succasunna, NJ

The role involves providing occupational therapy services across three elementary schools, supporting approximately 30 students. Most sessions are conducted in small group or individual settings, allowing for tailored interventions and meaningful connections with each student.
Key Qualifications/Experience:
- Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Previous experience in school-based OT preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative school team
- Organizational skills for managing a multi-site caseload
Role Overview:
- Delivering therapeutic OT services to elementary-aged students
- Developing and implementing Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and educational staff to support student progress
- Documenting session outcomes and preparing timely progress reports
- Traveling between three school sites as needed
- Fostering a supportive, engaging environment tailored to each student’s needs
