A contract-based opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide coverage during a maternity leave. Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid and active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Prior experience in a school-based environment preferred
- Ability to support a K-12 caseload, working with a range of developmental and physical needs
- Strong organizational skills to manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students
- Dedication to collaborative teamwork with educators, counselors, and other related service providers
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct OT services for up to 10 hours each week as assigned within the caseload
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Monitor and record student progress, maintaining accurate and timely documentation
- Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and parents to support optimal student engagement and achievement
- Adapt and modify activities and environments to ensure full access and participation for all students
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to reporting as requested
