Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- Flexible shifts available
- Ability to float between multiple hospitals in the region
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid OT (Occupational Therapist) license in Illinois
- Current BLS certification (required for all assigned hospital departments)
- NIHSS certification (required for most departments)
- ACLS and PALS certifications preferred for emergency and acute settings
- TNCC preferred if floating to emergency departments
- Experience in hospital-based therapy preferred; new travelers considered if clinically strong
- Excellent adaptability, organization, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient-centered occupational therapy services in a hospital setting
- Evaluate patient needs, develop goal-oriented treatment plans, and document progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to optimize outcomes
- Float seamlessly between hospitals in Marion and neighboring communities as required
- Contribute to quality initiatives and professional practice development
