Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts per week
- Includes two weekday shifts and two weekend shifts
- Flexible scheduling options available
- Float between assigned locations as needed
Qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted Occupational Therapist license
- Previous experience in a hospital or acute care environment preferred
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapy interventions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to float between multiple facilities and adapt to different team settings
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and in a group
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, plan, and implement individualized therapy plans for patients with diverse diagnoses
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other therapists to ensure optimal patient care
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary
- Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals, exercises, and safety
- Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes according to regulatory requirements
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and care plans
