Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active COTA certification and appropriate state credentials
- Experience in school settings preferred, though mentorship is available for newer professionals
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with OTs, educators, and families
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt therapy plans to meet students’ evolving needs
- Dedication to supporting occupational therapy goals in an educational context
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students per individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with district OTs to design engaging therapy interventions and track student progress
- Assist in evaluations and the creation of documentation that supports students’ educational programs
- Contribute insights to planning meetings and maintain clear, accurate records of services rendered
