Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Arlington Heights, IL

Key Qualifications:
- Active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Valid educator license issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting highly preferred
- Skilled in supporting the unique needs of school-aged children and young adults
- Flexibility to travel between multiple campuses within the district
- Availability for the contract period: August 27, 2026, through June 9, 2027
- Must be able to complete fingerprinting and additional credentialing requirements in a timely manner
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the guidance of a supervising OT
- Support students’ development and participation in school routines and activities
- Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families to deliver individualized services
- Track daily progress, maintain accurate documentation, and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Adapt services across school sites with varying schedules and age ranges
