Desired Skills & Licensure:
- Possess an active clinical license from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Hold a current educator license from the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE)
- Prior experience in a school-based setting highly encouraged
- Strong collaborative and communication skills
- Eagerness to work with a varied caseload from preschool through age 22
- Must be able to complete required fingerprinting for credentialing
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions supporting IEP goals and student progress
- Adapt activities and strategies for diverse learning and physical needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, OTs, school staff, and families
- Monitor and document student performance, adjusting plans as needed
- Travel between assigned schools within the district, managing a flexible daily schedule
