Qualifications and Experience:
- Active COTA certification and state license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred
- Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and with varied needs
- Knowledge of IEP documentation and compliance processes
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy interventions to K–8 students as directed by the supervising Occupational Therapist
- Assist in assessing student needs, setting goals, and supporting the implementation of IEPs
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each student’s progress and participation
- Document services, track progress, and maintain up-to-date records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines
- Contribute actively to team meetings and support a positive, inclusive learning environment
