School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Location: Coachella, CA
Employment Type: Full-time, Contract
Work Hours: 40 hours per week
Assignment Dates: ASAP – End of School Year 2026, continuing through the 2026–2027 school year
Pay: $35–$45+/hr (based on experience)
Responsibilities:
- Implement occupational therapy treatment plans developed by the supervising Occupational Therapist (OT)
- Provide direct services to students addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, and functional school performance
- Support students in accessing educational activities and school environments
- Collect and document student progress data and assist with reporting
- Collaborate with OTs, teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
- Serve a K–12 caseload with a variety of developmental and functional needs
Experience:
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred
Education / Requirements:
- Active California Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
