School-Based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) - Lathrop, California

Your expertise and passion for helping students will play a vital part in their educational journey. The assignment begins July 30, 2026, and is scheduled to conclude May 28, 2027, with the possibility of extension if services are needed for the Extended School Year.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current licensure or eligibility as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
- Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, especially with Pre-K to 8th Grade students.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working with OTs, teachers, and other education staff.
- Commitment to promoting student independence and participation.
- Familiarity with IEP processes, goal documentation, and progress tracking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services under OT supervision.
- Support students in achieving IEP goals across various educational environments.
- Adapt and implement interventions to maximize student success.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and interventions.
- Travel among district schools as needed to address caseload requirements.
