Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in Corona, CA

You'll work part-time, approximately 25 hours per week, from November 30 to June 4, with the possibility of starting early to observe and transition smoothly into your role. Collaborate with dedicated educational professionals and help students of diverse age groups achieve their functional and academic goals.
Key Qualifications:
- Active California COTA license is required
- Prior experience working within a school environment
- Strong understanding of school-based occupational therapy services and IEP processes
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled occupational therapy services under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Support students’ abilities in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care tasks
- Assist with the development and implementation of IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to adapt classroom environments and strategies based on student needs
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records according to district and legal requirements
- Travel as needed between assigned schools to service your caseload
