Your responsibilities in this role will include:
- Assisting licensed Occupational Therapists with implementing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
- Delivering direct and indirect therapy services to K-12 students across various school sites.
- Supporting students in achieving goals related to fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities within the classroom setting.
- Collaborating with teachers, administrators, and other school personnel to ensure cohesive service delivery.
- Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with school and legal requirements.
- Traveling between campuses as needed, adapting easily to new environments and teams.
Ideal qualifications and experience:
- Active and valid California COTA license required.
- Previous experience in a school environment and a strong understanding of IEP documentation is highly preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated flexibility and comfort working in an itinerant capacity across multiple locations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
