Role Overview:
- Full-time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Onsite at a supportive elementary school
- Start date as soon as possible and commitment through June 9, 2027
- Serve a diverse elementary caseload
- Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and families
- Participate in Zoom-based interviews for fast, convenient hiring
Qualifications:
- Active California COTA license required
- Proven background in school-based OT support
- Experience managing elementary student caseloads
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills
- Ability to carry out occupational therapy interventions, support IEP goals, and document progress effectively
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and implementing therapeutic activities for students
- Collect data and monitor students’ progress, reporting observations to the OTR
- Support the development of fine motor skills and adaptive techniques for classroom participation
- Adapt activities to meet individual student needs in coordination with the educational team
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions as requested
- Maintain compliance with school and state documentation requirements
