Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid certification as a COTA
- Experience in a school or pediatric setting, especially supporting occupational therapy for elementary-aged children
- Familiarity with planning and implementing OT interventions under supervision of a licensed OT
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to meeting required documentation and scheduling
- Enthusiasm, reliability, and a positive attitude toward teamwork
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver part-time, onsite COTA services (14 hours a week) to elementary students
- Work in conjunction with a lead Occupational Therapist to enhance student participation and performance in school environments
- Assist in developing and carrying out individualized treatment plans
- Observe, report, and document student progress and needs
- Support inclusive educational practices and contribute to IEP meetings as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and best OT practices
